The Police Lateral will be responsible for enforcing laws, conducting proactive patrols, responding to emergencies, investigating crimes, collecting and processing evidence, and maintaining public safety. The role also involves engaging with the community, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies and personnel. Applicants must maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards while performing various law enforcement duties.QualificationsStrong skills in Law Enforcement and experience as Police OfficersExperience in Criminal Investigations, including evidence collection and analysisKnowledge of police procedures, protocols, and standardsExcellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team, under pressure, and in emergency situationsCompletion of required police academy training and possession of relevant certificationsPhysical fitness and the ability to meet physical requirements for active dutyFamiliarity with the local community of Carlsbad, CA, is a plus
