Fire Sprinkler Designer

Topa Group is partnered with a leading Fire Protection Integrator. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems that comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to deliver safe, efficient, and code-compliant fire protection solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and client requirementsPrepare detailed shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material submittalsUtilize AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software to produce accurate layoutsCoordinate with project managers, contractors, AHJs, and other tradesReview architectural and structural drawings to identify design constraintsSupport permitting, plan reviews, and respond to review commentsAssist with field coordination and resolve design-related issues during installationMaintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycleQualifications2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler system design (preferred)Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, and local fire codesProficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience a plus)Experience with hydraulic calculation software (e.g., HASS, HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK)Ability to read and interpret construction documentsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred / Nice To HaveNICET certification (Level II-IV)BIM/Revit modeling experienceExperience with commercial, residential, or industrial projectsKnowledge of seismic bracing and specialty systemsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysCareer growth and professional development opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentTopa Group is partnered with a leading Fire Protection Integrator.
