This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, client-facing cost segregation professional who enjoys owning projects end-to-end and working across a variety of property types. The role offers a mix of analytical work, collaboration with internal engineering and tax teams, and direct client interaction in a fast-paced, consultative environment.Position OverviewThis role is ideal for a confident, client-facing Cost Segregation / Senior Consultant who can independently manage and execute cost segregation studies from start to finish. The position will work closely with clients across various industries and property types, owning engagements from initial scoping through final report delivery. This role requires someone polished, credible, and technically strong to lead studies and client conversations with minimal oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute full-scope cost segregation studies in accordance with IRS guidelinesManage projects from initial data collection through final report deliveryPerform detailed cost analysis and asset classification to accelerate depreciation and maximize tax benefitsAnalyze construction documents, engineering reports, and cost data to support defensible studiesSupport studies across multiple property types, including multifamily, commercial, retail, and industrial assetsServe as a primary point of contact for clients, clearly explaining methodology, findings, and tax impactCollaborate with internal tax, engineering, and consulting teams to ensure accuracy and complianceAssist with audit support, documentation requests, and client follow-ups as neededContribute to process improvements as the cost segregation practice continues to scaleQualifications3-5 years of proven experience executing cost segregation studies end-to-end REQUIREDBackground in cost segregation, construction estimating, engineering, accounting, or a related fieldStrong working knowledge of IRS cost segregation standards and depreciation methodologiesComfortable in a client-facing role with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and professionallyHighly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
