Maintenance Technician Who we are-Brigitflex is a small, women-owned manufacturer specializing in printed circuit boards (PCBs) for low-volume, high-complexity applications. We provide tailored solutions ranging from cost-effective designs to intricate, high-performance circuits. Our customers span a variety of industries, with a strong focus on defense and aerospace sector.Position Scope-As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, tools, and facilities that support our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys fixing things, working with their hands, and solving practical problems.-The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and assist with repairs to ensure smooth operation of production equipment and the facility.-You will work closely with production staff and management to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities-Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment-Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production equipment-Assist with troubleshooting equipment downtime or operational issues-Perform general facility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, electrical, and minor building repairs-Maintain shop tools and maintenance equipment-Install or modify equipment-Coordinate with production staff to resolve equipment issues quickly-Keep maintenance logs and document completed work when required-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment-Follow all company safety proceduresPreferred Skills-Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment-General mechanical troubleshooting experience-Basic electrical or plumbing repair experience-Welding or fabrication experience is a plus-Ability to diagnose equipment issues and propose practical solutions this includes both low and high voltage electricalRequired Skills-Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands-Comfortable working on your feet for the duration of the shift-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds-Ability to work independently and stay on task-Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment-Good problem-solving ability-Dependable and punctual-Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors-Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of maintenance tasksPay Range$25-$35/hrPart time, with the potential to move into full time.ITAR ComplianceThis position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Under ITAR, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., "Green Card" holder), asylee, or refugee as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
