Fire Alarm Technician

Topa Group, Inc. is partnered with a premier Fire Protection company in the greater Boston area we're seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to install, service, inspect, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm and life safety systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, code awareness, and the ability to work independently in commercial and industrial environments.ResponsibilitiesInstall, program, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA and local codesDiagnose and repair system deficiencies, wiring issues, and device failuresPerform system commissioning and acceptance testingAccurately document inspections, deficiencies, and service reportsCoordinate with project managers, inspectors, and customersQualifications5+ years of hands-on fire alarm installation and/or service experienceStrong knowledge of NFPA requirementsExperience with addressable and conventional fire alarm systemsAbility to read drawings, blueprints, and system layoutsValid driver's licensePreferredExperience in commercial high-rise, healthcare, or institutional facilitiesStrong troubleshooting and customer communication skillsNICET (Fire Alarm Systems) CertificationMA-D Low Voltage License What We OfferFull benefits packageSteady workloadOpportunities for training, certification, and career growth
