Learn more about us at .Role DescriptionAs a Designer at BC Interiors, you will be a critical part of the interior solutions that we design for our customers. This is a full-time salaried role and the position is based in Boulder, CO, with some flexibility for remote work after 6 months. Responsibilities include creating effective space plans, designing interior environments, collaborating with clients to understand project needs, working with construction documents, and specifying furniture to align with client specifications.Working in a smaller company requires our team members to wear multiple hats for most projects, however, your key responsibilities will be:The Value You'll Provide Our Clients:Owning projects from concept & design through install packages, ensuring your designs meet our client's scope and budgetCollaborate with account managers, project managers, and customersHandle client communication and presentations, including building design packages and fabric/finish boardsSpecify furniture and finishes from our key linesConstruct drawing sets using correct code requirementsWhat You Bring:3+ years of experience in Commercial Interiors and/or K-12 Education DesignDegree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related fieldExpertise in Space Planning and Interior Design practices with a passion for furnitureHigh level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills for working with clients and team membersOther Strong Qualifications:Experienced in commercial furniture industry standards and solutions including Haworth and HONAbility to interpret Architecture and Construction drawingsExperience in CET DesignerYour Compensation & Benefits Package:Salary range of $55,000 - $85,000 dependent on relevant years of design experience Benefits include Company Bonus Plan, Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) with match, Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, Flexible Work-from-Home days, Professional Development, and Life & Disability Insurance100% OPTIONAL Video IntroCongrats on reading our entire job description!
