The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining tight-tolerance parts and a deep understanding of industrial manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC Machine equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs. (Citizen, Star, Miyano and Tornos experience preferred but not required)Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models specific to tooling applications.Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.Program CNC machines using G-code or CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).Perform in-process and final inspections using precision instruments (micrometers, dial indicators, CMMs).Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes required for tooling applications.Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on CNC equipment.Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.Skills and TechnologiesStrong basic math skills.G-CodeM-CodeBlueprint ReadingCNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)CNC Lathe (Swiss Preferred but not required)Calipers, Micrometers, Drop Indicator, comparator etc.Program edits requiredExperience on Miyano and Tornos a plus.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining, engineering, or manufacturing preferred.3+ years of CNC machining experience in a tooling or precision manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of steels, heat treatment, and surface finishing processes.Experience with CNC programming and CAM software.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Physical DemandsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35lbs.Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.Exposure to shop environment with machinery, noise, and metalworking fluids.Compensation and BenefitsJob Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Benefit EligibleProjected Salary: $18-25 per hour (based on experience)Benefit Offerings: Paid Holidays; Paid Vacation/Sick Time; Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance; Disability Insurance; Life Insurance; Flexible Health Spending Account; 401(k) with employer match; Discretionary Bonus Program; Education Assistance; Professional Development.
