Position: Estimator - Manufacturing (Sheet Metal & Machining)Salary: $55,000 - $80,000Location: Naperville, ILSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMEmployment Type: Direct HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to support high-precision metal manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates and preparing competitive proposals for custom-manufactured components used in Electric Vehicles (EV), Aerospace, and Power Generation applications.The Estimator will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, customers, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing, efficient process planning, and timely project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive cost estimates for custom manufacturing projectsCreate detailed process routings and establish estimated production timelinesCalculate material layouts, usage, and required outside servicesPrepare and submit formal proposals for customer reviewPartner with Engineering and Production teams to validate processes and costsCommunicate directly with customers and suppliers regarding specifications, scope, and deliverablesQuote services including Laser Cutting, Stamping, Notching, Machining, Fabrication, Welding, and AssemblyQualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing(Estimating, Inside Sales, CNC Operations, Stamping, Industrial Engineering, or Fabrication preferred)Strong knowledge of machining and sheet metal fabrication processesAssociate degree preferredSkills & CompetenciesAbility to interpret mechanical drawings and read blueprintsStrong mathematical aptitude and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and OutlookWorking knowledge of MRP and database systemsExperience using micrometers and other precision measuring toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentBenefits401(k) with company matchHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementTo be considered for this opportunity, please reach out to Trova Advisory Group by sending an email to msosnowska@ with your resume, the position you are applying for, and a brief introduction.When contacting us, please ask for the hiring team to ensure your application is directed to the right person.
