Mill Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mill Manager to lead a large-scale lumber manufacturing facility in Magnolia, Mississippi. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving safety, operational excellence, and overall site performance.This position oversees approximately 165 employees, with 8-10 direct reports, and plays a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable operations while delivering products on time and in full.Key ResponsibilitiesChampion a culture of safety, integrity, and accountabilityLead efforts to maintain an injury-free workplace through strong safety systems and engagementFoster a people-focused environment that drives engagement and performanceOversee daily manufacturing operations to meet quality, productivity, and delivery goalsOwn site performance across reliability, cost, inventory, and financial resultsLead planning processes including capital planning, budgeting, and performance managementDevelop and coach leaders, building a strong pipeline of future talentDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the operationQualifications10+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentProven success in safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and people developmentStrong business and financial acumen (P&L ownership)Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and positive cultureExperience engaging teams in behavior-based safety practicesExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong organizational and planning capabilitiesAbility to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environmentPreferred ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Forestry, or related fieldExperience in wood products, lumber, or similar industries (highly preferred)Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement toolsBackground in reliability and asset lifecycle management
