Columbus, Ohio (Onsite)About the OpportunityA global manufacturing organization is seeking a Business Analyst - Manufacturing & Supply Chain to serve as a key IT partner to plant operations and supply chain teams.This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise systems, supporting day-to-day operations while playing a critical role in an upcoming SAP S/4HANA transformation. You'll work closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions.This is an exciting opportunity to join a company investing heavily in digital transformation, ERP modernization, and operational excellence across a global footprint.Key Responsibilities:The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Serve as the primary IT interface for manufacturing plants and supply chain stakeholders.Build strong relationships with plant leadership through regular engagement and operational understanding.Translate operational priorities (throughput, service, quality, safety, cost, uptime) into structured IT demand and roadmaps.Lead discovery and documentation of current and future-state manufacturing and supply chain processes.Develop functional requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria for SAP and integrated manufacturing systems.Translate shop-floor and supply chain requirements into clear deliverables for onshore, offshore, and MSP teams.Provide functional leadership across:Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) concepts and ERP integrationPlanning & MRP conceptsProcurement and supplier interaction conceptsQuality Management conceptsEHS reporting and compliance conceptsPlant Maintenance and asset management conceptsOT / shop-floor integration considerationsCoordinate closely with Finance, Sales, and Logistics counterparts on end-to-end process impacts.Support ECC enhancements and operational stability while contributing to S/4HANA transformation activities, including process harmonization, testing, and deployment readiness.Participate in UAT planning and execution for plant-facing capabilities.Support cutover activities and hypercare in coordination with project teams and MSP partners.Work closely with third-party providers on solution delivery, incident management, and continuous improvement.Ensure clear accountability, requirement clarity, and alignment to SLAs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related fieldExperience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA in manufacturing and supply chain domains.Experience with MES ecosystems and shop-floor/OT adjacent processes.Participation in multiple end-to-end SAP projects.Experience working with global teams, onshore/offshore resources, and MSPs.Strong ability to translate business requirements & business processes into technical deliverables and influence without authority.Confidential Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
