Associate Fashion Designer - Juniors

Our Juniors division is rapidly expanding, and we're looking for a passionate, creative, and detail-oriented Associate Fashion Designerto join our dynamic design team.Position Summary: As the Associate Fashion Designer for our Juniors line, you will assist in the design and development of our trend-driven, youthful dress collections. You will work closely with the Senior Designer, Merchandising, and Production teams to bring fresh, fun, and fashionable looks to life for our growing tween and junior customer base.Key Responsibilities:Support the design process from concept to final sample for the Juniors lineAssist in creating seasonal trend boards, color stories, and mood inspirationSketch designs by hand and/or using CAD tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop)Select and develop prints, patterns, trims, and fabrications suited for juniors' dressesPartner with technical design to ensure fit and quality standards are metTrack sample development and manage design documentation (tech packs, line sheets, etc.)Stay current on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer preferencesParticipate in fittings and design meetings to ensure vision is executed accuratelyMaintain organization of samples, swatches, and design filesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field1-3 years of fashion design experience, preferably in juniors or girls' apparelProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); knowledge of PLM systems a plusStrong understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabricAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPassion for juniors' fashion, trends, and the youthful apparel marketExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsWhy Join Us?Salary $60,000-$70,000 BoEWork in a fun, creative, and collaborative environmentOpportunity to be part of a growing brand with national retail exposureCompetitive salary and benefits packageBe a key player in shaping the fashion choices of the next generation!
