One of our clients is looking for a motivated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join their team in the Providence area!This role is ideal for someone with prior property management, leasing, or real estate experience who's looking to grow their career. You'll play a key role in supporting residents, assisting with leasing activity, and helping keep day-to-day property operations running smoothly.Key Responsibilities:Office & Administrative SupportGreet residents and visitors while maintaining a professional and welcoming office environmentAnswer phones and direct calls appropriatelyOpen, sort, and distribute daily mailCoordinate outgoing mailings, shipping, and deliveriesPerform filing, data entry, and general administrative tasksOrder office supplies and coordinate document storage (e.g., Iron Mountain)Check the rent drop box and assist with processing itemsSupport the team with special projects and day-to-day office needsAct as a liaison between the property office and other departmentsResident Relations & Leasing SupportCommunicate with residents via email and phone to address questions and requestsCoordinate temporary parking passes for residents and guestsProcess rental applications and assist with lease preparation for new residentsPrepare and send lease renewals and follow up for signaturesSupport leasing efforts, including responding to inquiries and assisting with tours as neededHelp coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-upFinancial & Operations SupportAccept and record rental paymentsAssist with monitoring rent collections and delinquenciesOrganize invoices and support accounts payable processesAssist with vendor payments and administrative trackingHelp prepare move-out files and final account statementsWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in property management, leasing, or administrative supportPrior experience in property management, leasing, or real estate strongly preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable communicating with a variety of people (residents, vendors, team members)Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with property management software is a plusA positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to take initiativeWhy This Role?Opportunity to build on existing property management or leasing experienceHands-on exposure to operations, leasing, and resident relationsSupportive team environmentThis is a direct-hire, full-time position that includes full benefits and a competitive salary (commensurate with experience)!This posting is from a staffing firm, but is a direct-hire opportunity with our client (no temporary/contract employment with the agency).
