Supply Chain Planning Manager (North America) - ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDEREDPosition SummaryResponsible for end-to-end production and inventory planning across multiple manufacturing sites and warehouses in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. This role ensures optimal product availability for seasonal and event-driven demand (e.g., graduation cycles) while balancing production capacity, inventory investment, and service levels.Key Responsibilities Production & Capacity PlanningDevelop and manage production plans across multiple facilities for diverse product lines (caps & gowns, yearbooks, diplomas, announcements, etc.)Align manufacturing schedules with forecasted demand and peak seasonal cyclesCollaborate with plant managers to optimize capacity, labor, and throughput Inventory & Replenishment StrategyOversee inventory planning across a multi-warehouse networkSet and manage safety stock levels, reorder points, and SKU segmentationBalance service levels with inventory carrying costs and obsolescence risk Demand Alignment Partner with sales, marketing, and finance to drive demand planning inputsLead or support monthly demand planningTranslate forecasts into actionable production and distribution plans Cross-Border & Network CoordinationManage product flow across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, considering lead times, customs, and transportation constraintsOptimize warehouse stocking strategies based on regional demand Seasonal & Event-Based PlanningDevelop detailed plans for peak graduation seasonsMitigate risks related to demand spikes, production bottlenecks, and logistics delays Systems & ReportingUtilize ERP/MRP to manage planning activitiesTrack KPIs such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and on-time deliveryDrive continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field5-10+ years in supply chain, production planning, or manufacturing operationsExperience managing multi-site or multi-country planningStrong understanding of seasonal demand planningAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsBilingual (English/Spanish) often preferred due to Mexico operations
