On call TV Broadcast Master Control Technician

KTSF is looking for an On call Master Control Technician who can ensure the continuity of broadcast signals in accordance with the Program log or Automation System (Oasys) schedule. This requires aural and visual observation skills coupled with proper response in case of equipment malfunction. Salary range is $25.00 - $28.00 an hour.Job Details:1) Competently set-up, record, process and play-out various audio/video formats used for broadcasting inclusive of satellite and field remote feeds, program suppliers and other program sources. 2) Operates audio equipment and systems during live Newscast and any locally produced programs.3) Performs monitoring, logging and execution of airings of EAS, closed-captioning and other FCC compliance requirements.4) Performs tasks needed to successfully prepare program packages ready for airing.5) Performs other tasks that may be required by the MC Supervisor and the Chief Engineer.Requirements:1) Must be authorized to work in the USA2) Must be physically fit to do the tasks3) Able to adjust to changing priorities in Studio operations.4) Must be willing to work in shifts and be on-call as needed5) Good attention to details 6) Able and willing to learn new systems and follow procedures 7) Good computer skills 8) Preferably with background in TV production and/ or education in electronicsKTSF is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to promoting a culturally diverse workforce. For more information and to apply for this position: Contact Director of Engineering Rolin Lintag at rlintag@ or Human Resources at hrd@
