With category expertise in full-collection menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, infant toddler; we specialize in denim, outerwear, activewear, loungewear/sleepwear, trusted by top retailers.About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Fashion Designer to join our Women's Surfwear team, specializing in wovens, knits jerseys and sweaters.This role requires a designer with a unique balance of creativity and technical expertise "” someone who understands the artistry behind effortless coastal style and the precision required to bring it to life at scale.You will lead seasonal design development from concept through to final sample, collaborating with Product Development, Merchandising, and Technical teams to deliver products that embodies our surf lifestyle heritage while pushing innovation and relevance.How You'll ContributeDesign & Creative Direction:Develop seasonal collections for women's surfwear, with a focus on wovens, and supporting categories in fully fashioned knits, and denimCreate trend boards, color palettes, and fabric direction aligned with brand identity and consumer lifestyleProduce detailed technical flats and garment illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopConduct trend research across surf, street, and lifestyle markets to inform silhouettes, graphics, and trimsPresent seasonal concepts and design stories to leadership and cross-functional teamsProduct Development & Technical Execution:Partner closely with Product Development through proto, fit, and SMS stages to ensure design integrity and quality standardsLead garment fittings, providing direction on proportion, drape, and finishing detailsDevelop and maintain comprehensive tech packs including sketches, measurements, construction notes, and BOMs within PLM systemsCollaborate with suppliers and mills on fabric sourcing, knit structure development, washes, and dye techniquesReview and comment on all sample submissions for fit, color, and fabric performanceCross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Merchandising to ensure styles meet market needs and price pointsCollaborate with Product Development to ensure styles meet target margins and sit appropriately within the line architecture and seasonal frameworkLiaise with global teams if needed to allow cohesive brand execution across marketMentor and support junior designers, fostering creativity and design excellence within the teamWhat you Bring to the teamBachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related disciplineMinimum 5 years' experience as a Designer or Senior Designer in women's surf, lifestyle, or denim categoriesProven experience with design and construction, fabrications, and developmentAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).Strong working knowledge of PLM systems and garment development processesExcellent understanding of fit, patternmaking, and garment constructionStrong communication, presentation, and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple projects within tight seasonal timelinesExperience working across global markets and multiple product tiers preferredUnderstanding of sustainable materials and production practicesPassion for surf, beach, and youth culture "” with a creative eye for balancing fashion and functionality is a plusWhy join o5groupHealth Benefits (Medical, Dental and Vision)Paid Time Off401(k)Company Paid HolidaysLife InsuranceCommuter BenefitsHybrid / Flex work scheduleApplyPlease send your résumé to jobs@.
