This role leads employee relations, compliance, performance management, and leadership development while ensuring consistency in HR practices across locations. Working closely with General Managers, Executive Chefs, and regional leadership, this position plays a critical role in strengthening organizational culture, mitigating risk, and elevating leadership capability"”while honoring the unique identity and standards of each concept within the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining portfolio.What You'll Do:Multi-Unit Leadership & Employee RelationsServe as the primary HR partner across multiple fine dining restaurant locationsLead complex employee relations matters, including sensitive and high-level issuesConduct thorough investigations and ensure fair, consistent outcomesIdentify trends across locations and proactively implement solutionsCoach General Managers, Executive Chefs, and leadership teams on performance and people managementPerformance Management & Talent DevelopmentDrive the performance management lifecycle across all assigned unitsDevelop leaders through coaching, feedback, and structured development plansPartner with regional leadership on succession planning and high-potential talent growthEnsure consistency in performance standards while honoring each concept's identityCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (CA, NV, FL, HI, NY)Lead audits across payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, and wage & hour practicesPartner with senior HR and legal on high-risk or escalated mattersUphold company policies with consistency and integrityWorkers' Compensation & SafetyOversee workers' compensation programs across all locationsManage claims, identify trends, and mitigate riskPartner with operations on return-to-work programs and accommodationsHR Operations & Data IntegrityMaintain accuracy across HR systems, including UKG ProAudit and improve HR processes for consistency and scalabilityBalance standardization with operational flexibility across diverse locationsTraining, Engagement & CultureEnsure onboarding experiences reflect brand standards from day onePartner with operations to align training with fine dining service excellenceFacilitate leadership training and development initiativesDrive engagement and retention strategies across a diverse workforceWhat We're Looking For5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in hospitality or restaurant environmentsProven success supporting multi-unit or multi-location operationsStrong expertise in multi-state labor law, especially wage & hour and tipped employee regulationsExperience managing complex employee relations and investigationsAbility to influence and coach senior restaurant leadershipHighly organized, adaptable, and solutions-orientedBilingual Spanish is a strong plusExperience with HRIS systems (UKG Pro preferred)What Sets You ApartYou lead with both empathy and accountabilityYou're as comfortable in a dining room as you are in a strategy sessionYou understand that exceptional guest experiences start with exceptional employee experiencesYou bring a refined, hospitality-driven approach to HRDisclaimer: Physical RequirementsThis role is primarily performed in an office environment and involves extended periods of sitting, computer work, and frequent communication. While sedentary, the position also requires occasional physical activity, including handling files, accessing storage areas, and using step stools or similar equipment to reach materials. The employee must be able to lift and move files as needed and perform basic bending, standing, and organizational tasks.Work ConditionsTravel includes regular local visits to support multiple restaurant locations, as well as periodic out-of-state or overnight travel based on business needs, training requirements, new-opening support, or operational priorities.
