As a founder-led organization, we remain deeply committed to hospitality, culture, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.At the heart of everything we do is our mission: Great People, Great Food, Great Coffee.About the RolePressed Café is seeking an organized and results-driven Catering Coordinator to oversee and grow our catering operations.This role is responsible for managing catering events from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring seamless coordination, exceptional service, and high-quality food presentation. The Catering Coordinator plays a key role in driving catering sales, maintaining strong client relationships, and upholding Pressed Café's standards at every off-site and in-house event.You'll balance sales, logistics, operations, and team leadership, ensuring every event reflects the Pressed Café brand.Hourly role with base wages up to $80,000 annually based on a 50-hour workweek (including overtime), plus eligibility for tips!What You'll DoPlan and coordinate catering events from inquiry to completion, including menu selection, logistics, delivery timing, and staffingServe as the primary point of contact for catering clients, ensuring clear communication and an exceptional experienceDrive catering sales growth through relationship-building and proactive outreachCollaborate with kitchen leadership to execute menus that meet client preferences and dietary needsOversee food preparation, packaging, and presentation to ensure quality and brand consistencySupervise and support catering staff during event setup, service, and breakdownMaintain compliance with food safety and handling standardsManage catering inventory, supplies, and vendor relationshipsMonitor catering budgets, invoices, and expenses to ensure profitabilityHandle payments and cash transactions accurately when requiredAddress client questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat businessWhat You BringProven experience in catering operations or restaurant event managementStrong understanding of food safety and food handling regulationsAbility to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneouslyExperience overseeing staff and providing training and leadershipStrong financial acumen, including budget management and cost controlExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced environmentExperience in quick-service or fast-casual restaurant operations preferredBar or beverage program experience is a plusWork RequirementsAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for eventsAbility to stand and move for extended periodsAbility to lift and transport catering equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs)Comfortable working both on-site and off-site at event locationsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
