This role sits at the intersection of product development, merchandising, and vendor coordination, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with internal teams and overseas partners to bring products from concept through production. You'll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong execution at every stage of the process.This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on exposure to how products are developed, evaluated, and successfully brought to market.Please note, this role is based on-site 5 days a week in our headquarter office in Farmers Branch.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & SamplingOwn the sample tracking process, including organizing, reviewing, and consolidating feedbackHelp ensure alignment between design intent and final product executionCoordinate sample approvals and communicate updates clearly across teamsVendor Communication & Timeline ManagementCommunicate directly with overseas partners on timelines, revisions, and product feedbackTrack development milestones and follow up to ensure deadlines are metFlag delays or issues early and help drive resolutionMerchandising & AnalysisAnalyze sales performance, margin, and inventory to support assortment decisionsAssist in identifying trends and competitive insights to inform product strategyOperations & ExecutionWrite and manage purchase orders with a high level of accuracyMaintain product data, costing, and assortment information within internal systemsPartner cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth executionGeneral SupportTake initiative on special projects and ad hoc assignments as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred1-3 years of experience in retail buying, merchandising, or a related fieldStrong understanding of retail math (margin, markup, sell-through, open-to-buy)High level of attention to detail and organizationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive and collaborative mindsetProficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort working in internal systemsWhat We OfferHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid parental leave401(k) with employer matchA culture of meritocracy that fosters ongoing growth opportunitiesA stable, growing family-owned company that looks after its employeesLoloi Rugs does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other reason prohibited by law in provision of employment opportunities and benefits.
