Applicants will also be directly involved in the growth and creation of culture in the new office.The RoleThe position of Design Engineer will offer you the ability to grow and apply your knowledge of structural engineering and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures working both independently and as part of an engineering team.DutiesThis is a diverse role and the duties includeEngineering, analysis, and design tasksPreparation of engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, analytical models, reports and correspondenceConstruction Administration including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and field observationAttend internal and external meetings with clients and design team membersOccasional field inspections and investigationsSupport of production efforts with Revit modeling tasksQualifications0 to 3 years experience in Structural EngineeringMaster's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred)EIT preferenceKnowledge of building fundamentals and design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC and ACIExperience with structural programs such as RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE and REVITStrong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communicationsExcellent planning and organizational skills for our fast-paced environmentHighly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challengesBenefits:Competitive salary + bonus packageMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife & Disability InsuranceExceptional 401(k) plan with matching11 Paid Holidays15 Days of Accrued Paid Time OffMcNamara •Salvia has provided a good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this position in this specific location.
