HR Assistant - Onboarding & HRIS (Workday)Location: On-Site - West Los Angeles, CAContract role: 2 to 3 monthsAbout the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team with employee onboarding and HRIS administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth new-hire experience and maintaining accurate employee data within Workday. The position is fully on-site in West Los Angeles and requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and support end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and first-day readiness • Enter, update, and maintain employee records in Workday (HRIS) with a high level of accuracy • Process employee changes such as hires, transfers, job changes, and terminations • Partner with HR, Payroll, and managers to ensure data integrity and compliance • Assist with I-9 documentation and compliance processes (as applicable) • Respond to employee inquiries related to onboarding, HR systems, and basic HR processes • Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files and documentation • Support additional HR administrative tasks and projects as neededRequired Qualifications • Prior experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or administrative HR support role • Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS • Experience supporting onboarding processes • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in an on-site HR environment • Familiarity with HR compliance processes and documentation • Strong communication and time-management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven settingWork Schedule • On-site, West Los Angeles • Full-time schedule (details to be provided)Pay Rate: $27 per hour Benefit offerings: include medical, dental, vision, additional voluntary benefits, 401K plan.
