About the RoleWe are hiring a Product Support Engineer to join a global leader in heavy equipment, Caterpillar. This role sits at the intersection of quality, engineering, and field support, focusing on resolving real-world equipment issues and improving product performance.You'll work closely with internal engineering teams, dealers, and customers to troubleshoot problems, analyze failures, and drive continuous improvement.?? Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate warranty claims and field failures to identify root causes and quality improvement opportunitiesProvide technical support to dealers and customers, resolving equipment issues efficientlyAnalyze product reliability, performance data, and failure trendsCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actionsPerform electrical and hydraulic system troubleshootingDevelop and maintain quality reports, documentation, and test proceduresSupport training and knowledge sharing on product support and quality processes?? Required Skills & Experience5-7 years of experience in product support, quality engineering, or test engineeringBachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or related fieldStrong hands-on experience with:Electrical troubleshooting (multimeter, oscilloscope)J1939 CAN / CAN Bus communicationHydraulic systemsSensors (Hall effect, pressure transducers, angle sensors)Failure analysis & root cause investigationData analysis & technical reportingFamiliarity with Six Sigma methodologiesProficiency with Microsoft tools and engineering-related applications?? Soft SkillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsCustomer-focused with the ability to work cross-functionallyDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivated and proactive
