ASSOCIATE TECHNICAL DESIGNER(Apparel Product Development)Location: Portland / HybridEvelyn & Bobbie is revolutionizing an industry. Now eleven years old, Evelyn & Bobbie is experiencing rapid growth, and we are expanding our team of career-minded professionals who strive to impact society in meaningful ways through our products and our message.We have an invitation waiting for an Associate Technical Designer who thrives at the intersection of fit, construction, and problem solving. This role is responsible for the development process and technical integrity of products. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of patternmaking and grading across a wide spectrum of shapes and sizes.Responsibilities:Own end-to-end development of assigned stylesPartner with Design to ensure tech packs are detailed, accurate, and up-to-dateManage multiple styles simultaneously with accuracy and accountabilityTrack product timelines and deliverables in AsanaExecute against development calendar deadlinesCommunicate daily with factories and crossfunctional teamsLead sample evaluationsLead fittings with a point of viewSupport fittings and meetings by capturing accurate and organized notes and photosExecute wear testing fittings, surveys, data analysis and recapRecruit, schedule, and coordinate fit models and wear testersMaintain systems for tracking fitting data and assetsLead preparation of internal and external presentationsEvaluate PPs and TOPs for fit, quality, and constructionTake on additional responsibilities as needed in a fast-growing, nimble environmentQualifications:3 - 5 years of industry experience in women's apparelExperience in intimates or close-to-body garmentsExperience leading fittings and presentationsFamiliarity with bonding and lamination technologiesExperience working in PLM systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and vendorsExceptional organizational and time management skillsProficiency in: MacOS, Excel / Google Sheets, Adobe Illustrator, Google Workspace, PowerPoint / Google Slides, ZoomBenefits:Competitive salaryResponsible Time Off ("RTO")10 paid holidays, annuallyGenerous PPO medical, vision, and dental insuranceUp to 3% match on retirement contributionsDiscounts on company productsAn opportunity to make your mark and develop a legacy
