Senior Project Manager

General Summary:The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing chiller projects from order receipt through final completion. This role serves as the main point of contact for customers and coordinates with sales engineering, factory operations, logistics, and service teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and to customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Take ownership of projects after handoff from Sales EngineeringReview project scope, schedules, specifications, and customer requirementsCoordinate factory witness testing with customers, engineers, and production teamsManage delivery schedules and communicate site requirements to logisticsTrack shipped-loose items and resolve delivery discrepanciesCoordinate commissioning schedules with customers and service teamsMonitor project progress and resolve issues affecting timelines or performancePrepare and deliver closeout documents, including manuals, warranties, and as-built documentationServe as primary customer contact throughout project executionMaintain accurate project records and status updatesPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred5-7 years of project management experience in HVAC, industrial equipment, or related industriesChiller or rotating equipment experience preferredAbility to read mechanical and electrical drawings and project specificationsKnowledge of chilled water systems and HVAC fundamentals preferredStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyERP/CRM or project management software experience preferredPMP certification is a plus but not requiredCore Competencies:Project coordination and executionCustomer communication and relationship managementTechnical understanding of HVAC systemsTime management and organizationProblem-solving and follow-throughWork Environment:Office-based with occasional travel to factories, customer sites, and project meetings
