CES/AWS is looking for an Operations Superintendent (Night Shift) for our Automotive Manufacturer Client.Location: Sellersburg, INSalary: $85k - $95k/yShift: Night ShiftEmployment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire positionIndustry: Automotive / WarehousingPosition OverviewThe Operations Superintendent is responsible for managing all night shift operations, leading supervisors, and ensuring production, quality, safety, and customer requirements are consistently met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in manufacturing or JIT environments and is passionate about developing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Business ManagementOversee and prioritize all aspects of shop floor operations during night shiftEnsure production schedules are met to support customer requirementsLead shift and department meetingsSupport and drive continuous improvement initiativesLeadership & Team DevelopmentDirectly manage and develop shift supervisorsPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, morale, productivity, and qualityMaintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors regarding operational and safety mattersQuality, Problem Solving & ReportingEnsure compliance with company quality systems, policies, and proceduresAdhere to control plans and quality requirementsSupport problem-solving efforts and operational reportingCustomer SupportParticipate in customer and internal presentations related to production responsibilitiesSafety & ComplianceFoster a safety-first culture and support facility safety goalsEnsure compliance with corporate, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulationsPromote company vision, culture, and operating philosophyPerform additional duties as requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Management, or related field(or equivalent combination of education and experience)Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in automotive manufacturing, JIT, sequencing, or assembly environmentsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsProficient with computer systems and production reporting toolsAbility to lead in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environmentIf you are interested, please apply or send your resume to carmen@
