This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career or looking to transition into metrology from a field service, manufacturing, or technical background.This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment accuracy and reliability to support laboratory and operational activities. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, calibration exposure, or equipment troubleshooting experience are encouraged to apply"”even without prior healthcare or lab experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform calibration, verification, and basic maintenance on equipment such as balances, pipettes, temperature/humidity devices, and other lab or production instrumentsTroubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairsMaintain accurate calibration records and documentationAssist with scheduling and tracking calibration activitiesSupport equipment setup, qualification, and general upkeepPartner with internal teams to ensure equipment is functioning properlyCoordinate with vendors for repairs or advanced servicing as neededFollow safety procedures and maintain an organized workspaceQualificationsAssociate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience (engineering, electronics, manufacturing, etc.)0-2+ years of experience in calibration, equipment maintenance, field service, or manufacturing environmentsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to work independently and manage tasks effectivelyNice to Have (Not Required)Prior calibration or metrology experienceExperience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, etc.)Familiarity with lab or manufacturing equipmentExperience using CMMS or similar systemsWhy This RoleGreat entry point into metrology and calibrationOpportunity to build technical skills in a growing fieldHands-on work with a variety of equipmentCollaborative team environment
