A dynamic and rewarding career opportunity to join a rapidly growing industrial distribution company dedicated to providing quality solutions that enable industrial manufacturing customers to maintain optimal operations and production efficiency. As the Fort Worth-based Account Manager you'll lead territory growth across NW Texas, middle and western Oklahoma with focus on product innovation and reliability, and customer support excellence.The Account Manager is responsible for both managing and expanding relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with new customers. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and customer-centricity.Responsibilities:Client relationship management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customersServe as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and escalations.Understand customers' business needs and objectives and proactively identify opportunities to add value and enhance the client experienceNew business development:Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation, negotiation and closing new business opportunities within the territoryConduct thorough research to understand potential clients' business challenges and goalsDevelop tailored solutions and proposals to address clients' needs and position best product and service solutionsSales Performance:Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, including revenue goals, new customer acquisition targets, and sales activity quotasEffectively manage sales pipelines and opportunities in CRM software, ensuring accurate forecasting and reportingCollaboration, communication leadership, and professional development:Partner with internal teams, including marketing and customer support to align strategies and ensure seamless client experienceCommunicate client feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence for product development and go-to-market strategiesCollaborate with leadership teams to develop sales strategies, tactics, and processes to drive growth and achieve organizational objectivesStay informed about industry trends, best practices, and competitor offeringsParticipate in training sessions, workshops, and other professional development activities to enhance sales skills and product knowledgeQualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial/manufacturing/reliability engineering or related technical or business fieldSuccessful B2B solution sales experience gained in account management or sales development roles. Industrial distribution a plus.Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools; ability to adapt to new technologies quicklyHighly motivated and driven by results, with a proactive approach to prospecting and lead generationFort Worth, TX remote position with ability to meet clients via 40%+ road travel across NW Texas, central and western Oklahoma.
