This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across a variety of product types, from classroom décor and book covers to logos and packaging design.You'll play a key role in bringing concepts to life through strong design, layout, typography, and visual storytelling. Illustration skills are a plus, but not the primary focus of the role.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign high-quality layouts and graphics for classroom décor, print products, and book coversTranslate creative briefs into clear, visually engaging designsCreate supporting visual assets such as patterns, icons, and simple illustrationsCollaborate with the Creative Director and team to refine concepts and incorporate feedbackBuild and present physical mockups for projects in developmentPrepare and package production-ready files for printProvide accessible and organized files to Production or Marketing upon requestIndependently research and draft new product ideas for upcoming future releases Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design and décor trendsEnsure all work aligns with brand standards and maintains a consistent aestheticManage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentRequired Qualifications & SkillsStrong portfolio showcasing graphic design, layout, and visual problem-solvingProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Solid understanding of typography, color, and compositionAbility to take direction, execute within established styles, and pivot between active projectsExcellent attention-to-detail, time management, and organizational skillsUnderstanding of prepress production terminology and file-prepping processesPreferred QualificationsIllustration or character design skillsExperience in children's products, publishing, or consumer goodsBachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, or related fieldPlease submit your resume, cover letter, and a link to your portfolio to [email protected] salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000, plus 401K, medical, dental, and vision benefits.
