As we continue to expand our operations and product offerings, we are seeking a dedicated Materials Planner II to ensure the smooth availability of materials and contribute to the success of our field service and product introduction planning efforts.This role will play an essential part in optimizing our inventory management processes, ensuring timely material availability, and supporting strong customer service performance.Key ResponsibilitiesField Service Parts PlanningPlan and purchase the necessary field service parts for key customers, partnering closely with customer service to minimize shortages while meeting service-level expectations.Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)Oversee VMI, including monitoring demand trends, failure rates, recall events, and customer requests to maintain appropriate material levels.Material Planning for NPIDevelop and execute material planning strategies to support new product introductions (NPI) and field service needs.Forecast Review & Risk ManagementReview forecasts and proactively develop material strategies to support production, reducing risks related to supply chain disruptions.Inventory OptimizationMaintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials and NPI finished goods during product development and release stages.Excess and Obsolete (E&O) AnalysisPerform E&O analysis, prepare inventory reports, and engage in regular review discussions to optimize inventory performance.Material Issue ResolutionCollaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve material challenges, balancing service and business priorities.Reporting & KPIsPrepare and publish regular cost estimates, inventory reports, and KPI updates for leadership.Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience in materials planning and inventory management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and create actionable insights.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality and deadlines.Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong attention to detail and accountability.Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with teams like customer service, engineering, and procurement.What We OfferCompetitive compensation with Holiday Pay and Paid Time Off.Comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and more.401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match.Opportunities for professional development and career growth in a stable and supportive work environment.BTC Power is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
