Job Title: Project Engineer 3Location: Lafayette, IN (Onsite)Duration: 12 MonthsJob Summary: Seeking a Project Engineer to act as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing, supporting large engine electrical systems. The role focuses on resolving build and quality issues, improving assembly processes, and managing engineering change initiatives rather than heavy design work.Key Responsibilities:Support manufacturing by troubleshooting electrical build and quality issuesAct as first point of contact for assembly floor concernsDrive BIQ initiatives (CI Cards, ECRs) and manage multiple active projectsCollaborate with global teams (US & offshore) to resolve engineering issuesDocument assembly processes and support pre-delivery auditsImprove part traceability and build efficiencyRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering or related3+ years of engine design experience (internships considered)Strong electrical design knowledge and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read engineering drawings and schematicsKey Skills:Electrical systems knowledgeProblem-solving & troubleshootingSelf-starter with strong organizational skillsSoft Skills:Strong communication and cross-functional collaborationAbility to work with shop-floor teams and diverse stakeholdersMultitasking in a fast-paced environment
