About the CompanyWe are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our Dallas, TX team. As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of industrial projects and providing detailed proposals to our manufacturing customers. Your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and customer relationship management will be crucial in ensuring the success of our projects. Holding a Master Electrician license is a plus.$7,500 referral bonus for referring a qualified candidate that is hired. Please send referrals to the RoleAs a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of industrial projects and providing detailed proposals to our manufacturing customers.ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical and industrial controls and construction projectsReview project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirementsConduct site visits to assess project scope and conditionsAnalyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project expensesIdentify potential risks and challenges that may impact project costsNegotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingUtilize industry-standard software to create comprehensive estimatesMonitor and track project costs throughout the projectCollaborate with the construction management team to ensure cost control measures are implementedQualificationsStrong commercial and industrial estimating experience necessaryExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codesProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specificationsFamiliarity with contract documents such as NEC (New Engineering Contract)Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesBachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)Compensation packageCompetitive salary with significant bonus opportunitiesUnlimited paid time off and paid holidaysComprehensive company-sponsored health insurance package for employee and dependentsEqual Opportunity StatementIf you are a highly motivated individual with a strong background in commercial electrical estimating, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
