This is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-driven organization that offers long-term stability, purpose, and professional developmentResponsibilities:Process end-to-end payroll for an organization with 200+ employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and applicable regulationsManage payroll across multiple departments, each with different GL codes, work rules, pay types, and cost centersReview, validate, and audit payroll data prior to each payroll run to ensure completeness and accuracyEnsure all payroll changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, deductions, retro pay, etc.) are accurately reflected in the payroll systemAdminister and support integrated time and attendance systems, ensuring accurate capture of worked hours, PTO, and exceptionsPartner with department leaders and HR to resolve timecard discrepancies and ensure adherence to work rules and organizational policiesMonitor and troubleshoot timekeeping issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees as neededServe as a key user of the payroll and timekeeping platformUKG payroll and timekeeping experience is strongly preferred, though candidates with experience using similar integrated systems will be consideredEnsure payroll processing complies with federal, state, and local regulationsMaintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll and compensation data at all timesSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to payroll-related inquiriesMaintain organized payroll records and documentation in accordance with retention requirementsProvide timely and professional responses to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managersQualifications:Experience running payroll for an organization with 200+ employeesHands-on experience with integrated payroll and time & attendance platformsStrong preference for UKG payroll and timekeeping experience; experience with comparable systems will be consideredAdvanced ability to work with payroll data, recreate reports, analyze information, and use Excel effectivelyProven ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detailExperience supporting payroll in a complex organizational environment with multiple departments, GL codes, and work rulesEmployment type:Contract If interested in this position apply today and send your resume to Regan.Pease@Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:• The California Fair Chance Act• Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance• Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers• San Francisco Fair Chance OrdinanceBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
