Mastercam CNC Programmer

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a metals manufacturing company in Norfolk, VA. They are looking to hire for a CNC Programmer with Mastercam. This position is a direct hire role paying between $90,000 - $105,000 a year.The CAM Programmer will be well versed in computer aided design (preferably Inventor) and computer aided manufacturing (Mastercam). The person in this position will be required to interface with both engineering and manufacturing on a daily basis.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Create new CAM programs utilizing Mastercam (toolpath programming for both milling and turning) Design hard CNC work-holding fixtures (i.e. aluminum, steel) to be utilized for CNC milling operations Design and create soft work-holding fixtures for secondary manufacturing processes and CMM measuringSECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Use design software to produce 2D and/or 3D designs Incorporate manufacturing feedback into 3D model designs Revise 2D Drawings as requestedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Associate technical degree.
