We are looking for someone who is exceptionally organized, detail obsessed, and comfortable working inside systems, spreadsheets, and supplier communication threads to keep product information accurate and moving forward.The Item Setup & Sourcing Coordinator helps carry products from finalized design through supplier quoting, sample tracking, and item setup in our ERP. This person is not responsible for the creative direction of product development, but plays a critical role in making sure the information, documentation, and handoff to purchasing are clean, complete, and actionable.This is a role for someone who loves process, enjoys keeping many moving pieces organized, and takes real pride in getting the details right.Key Responsibilities:Item Setup & Data ManagementCreate and maintain new item records in the ERP systemEnter product specifications, materials, dimensions, packaging details, and related dataEnsure all product information is complete, accurate, and organizedMaintain clean digital records and supporting documentation for each productSupplier RFQ ProcessSend Requests for Quote (RFQs) to approved suppliers once designs are finalizedCollect, organize, and maintain supplier price quotes and quote historyTrack supplier lead times, minimum order quantities, and other key sourcing informationHelp ensure costing inputs are current and clearly documentedSample CoordinationRequest development and production samples from suppliersTrack sample timelines and follow up with suppliers to keep projects movingCoordinate internal sample review with the design teamRecord feedback and communicate revisions or approvals back to suppliersCross-Team CoordinationWork closely with Design, Operations, Buying, and Finance to ensure information is accurate and completeHelp keep the flow of information moving smoothly between teamsEnsure all required details are in place before items move to purchasingProduct Handoff to PurchasingPrepare finalized item records for handoff to the BuyerConfirm approved supplier, cost, and specifications are clearly documentedSupport a clean transition from item setup into purchase order creationWhat You Bring:Strong organizational and administrative skills, with exceptional attention to detailComfort managing spreadsheets, data systems, and product information across multiple projectsComfort working inside ERP systems; experience with systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct is a plusStrong communication skills when working with suppliers and internal teamsA process-oriented mindset and a willingness to follow structured workflowsWhy Fishs Eddy?We've been doing this forever"”and we're just getting started.
