Since 1979, it has grown into a cultural force uniting fashion, music, and movement. We are relaunching as a full fashion brand with our Spring/Summer 2027 collection "” distributed globally and presented on the international fashion calendar. We are building something iconic, and this is the role that defines how the world sees it.The RoleWe are looking for a Director of Brand Marketing to own how Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace shows up in the world "” across wholesale, retail, social, editorial, events, influencer, and PR. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who is as comfortable developing seasonal brand narratives as they are coordinating a sell-in deck for a wholesale buyer or executing a cultural activation in Los Angeles. This is not a performance marketing role. It is strategic, creative, and deeply operational. You will be the connective tissue between product, design, sales, and culture "” and you will play a defining role in making FRBP iconic.What You'll DoOwn full brand strategy and seasonal storytelling across collections, wholesale, drops, and capsulesDirect social media execution "” Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms "” aligned with brand DNALead editorial and lookbook direction in close partnership with design and productionBuild and manage influencer and seeding programs "” organic, taste-driven, and culturally intentionalConceive and execute events, pop-ups, and activations that connect with LA's creative community and beyondDevelop PR strategy and media relationships that build long-term brand credibilitySupport wholesale and retail partners with sell-in storytelling, buyer communication, and brand materialsOwn go-to-market planning and campaign orchestration across all channelsAlign cross-functionally with design, production, sales, and merchandisingOwn budget and post-campaign reportingWhat You Bring7+ years in brand marketing for a fashion, streetwear, or lifestyle labelDeeply embedded in LA's creative community "” with existing relationships across talent, stylists, photographers, and cultural figuresProven experience owning editorial, social, influencer, events, and wholesale marketing end-to-endEqually comfortable building brand heat and supporting commercial sell-inExperienced in go-to-market planning with multiple channels and retail partnersAble to operate as a one-person department while building toward a teamLuxury, streetwear, or lifestyle brand experience preferredEarly-stage or first-hire marketing experience a plusBonusConnection to roller culture and its history in Los AngelesExperience in drop-based or limited-release brand environmentsFashion startup experienceCompensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
