Transportation Engineer

OverviewThe Transportation Engineer is responsible for managing the development of the project including coordination with client and subconsultants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design of horizontal and vertical alignments, development of roadway plans, maintenance of traffic design, preparation of construction plans, cost estimates and the development of technical reports.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license in Virginia5+ years of relevant job experience related to highway engineering including experience with VDOTExperience with designing roadway plans including cost estimates and preparation of constructionsExperience with design software tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and AutoCAD preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
