Our client, a leading name in the beauty and retail industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll fundamentals, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Please note this is a hybrid, 3-6 month contract based in San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $27/hr.Key Responsibilities:Assist with biweekly payroll processing and auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulationsManage and resolve employee payroll inquiries through the HLOL ticketing system in a timely and professional mannerProcess daily terminations and ensure all final payments and records are accurately updatedCollaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain accurate payroll data and reportingSupport payroll team with ad-hoc requests, audits, and special projects as neededQualifications:1-3 years of payroll experience preferredBasic understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and wage lawsPrior experience with Dayforce or other HRIS/payroll systems highly preferredStrong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle confidential information with integrityPlease submit your resume for consideration!You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting /home/candidate.
