Job Title: Quality ManagerPosition Overview:A client of I.K. Hofmann's is looking for a Hands-on quality professional with IATF experience, focused on shopfloor execution, knows automotive tools, but is not overly theoretical can step into a lead / supervisor roleMust-Haves:Deeper experience with IATF 16949 (audits)3-7 years in manufacturing quality (shopfloor environment)Experience in high-volume manufacturing, Experience in: Metal stamping / formingSolid working knowledge of: PPAP, FMEA, Basic SPC (APQP/MSA would be nice)Experience with:Customer complaints & 8D problem solving, Root cause analysis (5-Why, etc.)Ability to: Read technical drawings (basic GD&T understanding), Handle quality issues on the shopfloor (scrap, rework, deviations)Hands-on mindset (willing to be on the floor daily)Automotive background (OEM / Tier)KPI exposure (PPM, scrap, COPQ)Pluses:Informal leadership or mentoring experienceJoin us to play a key leadership role in building an automotive-grade quality organization and impacting company growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
