(Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)Key Responsibilities:Manage multi-state payroll tax filings (monthly, quarterly, annual)Ensure accurate and timely tax remittances and reportingMaintain and audit Workday payroll tax configurationsPerform QTD/YTD payroll tax reconciliationsPartner with Accounting to resolve G/L discrepanciesValidate tax data accuracy across systemsResearch and resolve federal & state tax noticesSupport internal/external audits and year-end tax processesVendor & Stakeholder CollaborationWork with Alight / Strada or similar payroll vendorsPartner with Payroll, HRIT, and Accounting teamsIdentify and implement process improvements & automationEnsure system integrity through regular auditsKey Requirements and Technology Experience: 3-5+ years of payroll tax experience (multi-state required)Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll (must-have)Strong experience in tax filings, reconciliation, and complianceExperience handling tax notices and auditsAdvanced Excel skills (data analysis & reconciliation)Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmenExperience with Alight, Strada, or other payroll vendorsExposure to process improvement / automation initiativesLarge enterprise payroll environment experienceOur client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
