Phoenix, AZAbout the OpportunityWe're representing a leading, rapidly growing general contractor specializing in water, wastewater, and advanced treatment infrastructure projects across the U.S. This organization delivers critical systems that directly impact communities, public health, and environmental sustainability.Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring on a Senior Estimator to support high-profile municipal, industrial, and advanced technology projects in the Phoenix market.The RoleAs a Senior Estimator, you'll play a key role in preconstruction and bid development, working closely with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to deliver accurate and competitive project estimates.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys complex, heavy civil or industrial work and wants to be part of a business focused on meaningful infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for proposals, projects, and studiesLead and coordinate all aspects of the estimating process from takeoffs through final submissionAnalyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify risks and opportunitiesDevelop pricing strategies based on productivity, materials, and construction methodsCoordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, operations) on estimate inputsSolicit, review, and validate subcontractor and supplier pricingCompile and analyze bids to ensure compliance with contract requirementsConduct constructability reviews and provide input to project teamsMaintain and leverage historical cost data to improve estimating accuracyBuild and maintain strong relationships across the supply chainWhat They're Looking For10+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil, industrial, or infrastructure constructionStrong understanding of construction methods, equipment, and materialsAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentsProficiency with tools like Excel, Bluebeam, and takeoff softwareStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teamsPreferred ExperienceWater / wastewater or related infrastructure projectsExperience with CMAR, Design-Build, or hard-bid environmentsField experience and/or exposure to cost control & schedulingFamiliarity with tools like HCSS HeavyBid, Planswift, or AgtekCompensation & Benefits$175,000 - $180,000 base salaryComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO + paid holidaysPaid parental leaveFully covered life insurance and disability benefitsAdditional voluntary benefits optionsWhy This Role?Work on high-impact infrastructure projects that matterJoin a well-established but fast-growing contractorStrong pipeline of work and long-term stabilityClear opportunities for career progression and leadership
