We believe what's good for our team is good for our business - Longfellow encourages a kind, fun, and collaborative culture where the wins are shared.Position BackgroundWe are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Property Coordinator for a Class A lab/office property in San Francisco, CA. This role is ideal for someone with experience or a strong interest in the commercial real estate industry. The Property Coordinator will report directly to our Senior Property Manager.This is a dynamic role that will work closely with the firm's property management and Elevateteams daily. The position provides exposure to a full spectrum of duties. As such, the position demands a dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail, facility with numbers, good people skills and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and solve problems.Specific ResponsibilitiesProperty Management:Support the team in the daily operations of the propertyAssist in the coordination of daily activities of all vendors performing work at the site(s)Provide general administrative support for the property management teamAccounts receivable and payablesAssist PM team with tenant rent, accruals, service contracts, and aging reportsInterfaces with tenants on preventative maintenance and work order processingHelp maintain certificates of insurance for vendors and tenantsAssist in preparation of various client reporting requirementsAssist with App ManagementAssist with Tenant communicationsCoordinate and attend reoccurring vendor walks for the PM and Elevate teamsElevate (Longfellow's proprietary tenant experience and hospitality program): Support the Elevate team in event execution and amenity space operationsCollaborate with the Elevate team on event requirementsAssist with event preparation and executionAssist with ordering amenity supplies and accoutrements as budgeted under the property budgetsAssist with client and vendor questionsAssist with AV and IT support in amenity spacesGeneral support and responsibilities:Communicate and work with tenants in a timely and friendly mannerProactively provide ideas and recommendations for property, programming, and tenant experience improvementsAssist in creating and proofreading documents created by the Property Management and Elevate teamsAssist on various ad hoc projects that ariseQualifications2 years of experience in property management support preferred. Willing to consider exceptional candidates directly from undergraduate or graduate school;Bachelor's Degree preferred;Strong customer service skills required;Accounts payable experience is strongly preferred (Yardi experience is a bonus);Individual should possess excellent oral and written communication skills;Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office;Ability to handle multiple tasks with strong organizational skills;Detail oriented with independent work ethic;Ability to grasp new concepts quickly;
