Boston, MA | Full-Time I Fully OnsiteWe're partnering with a leading health system to hire a Director of Pharmacy Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to lead enterprise-wide pharmacy sourcing strategy across inpatient, outpatient, retail, infusion, and community hospital settings.This role will own procurement governance, supplier strategy, and cost optimization "” ensuring reliable medication supply and operational consistency across the system.What You'll OwnLead pharmacy procurement strategy across all sites and purchasing channels (WAC, GPO, 340B, and alternative distribution models)Establish procurement governance, policies, and controls to drive consistency and reduce cost variabilityOversee supplier relationships across wholesalers, manufacturers, and specialty distributorsDrive sourcing strategy, vendor performance management, and contract alignmentPartner with Pharmacy, Finance, and IT to ensure accurate purchasing data, cost tracking, and reportingIdentify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, optimize spend, and enhance supply chain performanceSupport and align procurement strategies within 340B environmentsWhat You'll Impact$1B+ in pharmacy spendSystem-wide sourcing and supplier strategyProcurement transformation and process standardizationCost savings, supply continuity, and operational efficiencyWhat We're Looking For10+ years of experience in pharmacy supply chain, procurement, or drug sourcingExperience managing large, complex pharmacy spend ($1B+)Strong knowledge of GPOs, wholesalers, and contract complianceExperience working in or supporting 340B programsProven ability to lead teams and drive enterprise-wide initiativesEducationBachelor's degree requiredAdvanced degree (MBA, MS, or PharmD) preferred340B ACE certification is a plus
