Quality Manager

PPS is seeking a CWI Certified Quality Manager for our fabrication facilities in Phoenix. The QM will be charged with overseeing all quality processes. This is a permanent direct hire role with excellent benefits and room for advancement!Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all quality control processes related to steel and pipe fabrication.Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications (e.g., ASME, AWS, API).Lead internal audits and implement corrective actions to maintain quality assurance systems.Review and approve material test reports, welding procedures, and fabrication records.Interface with project managers, welders, fitters, and customers to resolve quality-related issues.Maintain and enforce documentation of inspection reports and quality-related records.Train and mentor shop personnel in quality best practices and visual/weld inspection standards.Participate in third-party audits and customer inspections.Monitor and continuously improve quality control metrics and shop performance.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsCWI certification required5+ years in leadership positions10+ years of manufacturing/industrial/fab experienceHigh-end fab background required
