As part of a global industrial group, the organization delivers fully integrated capabilities"”ranging from laser cutting and CNC machining to electronics and cleanroom assembly"”while driving innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Position Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer is a key member of the Engineering team, responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes to drive efficiency and performance. This role plays a critical part in establishing production best practices and ensuring daily operations meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Key Responsibilities:Support and improve production processes, materials, and equipmentCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teamsLead and participate in initiatives to improve labor efficiency and reduce costsDevelop plant layouts and optimize product flow using tools such as value stream mapping and bottleneck analysisImplement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, JIT, visual management systems)Design, procure, and maintain production tooling, fixtures, and equipmentTroubleshoot manufacturing and design-related issues and implement effective solutionsConduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiativesSupport new product introduction (NPI) from prototype through productionPrepare technical documentation, work instructions, and process reportsLead process capability studies and continuous improvement projects (Six Sigma, Value Engineering)Train and support operators and technicians as neededManage non-conformance investigations and implement corrective/preventive actionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience)Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification preferred5+ years of experience in high-tech manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with high-mix, low-volume production and pilot buildsHands-on expertise in CNC machining, MIG/TIG welding, and sheet metal fabricationFamiliarity with cleanroom manufacturing environmentsProficiency with CAD software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools (Excel, Python)Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
