Claims Supervisor, First Report Unit

The primary role of First Report Unit Supervisor is to lead a team of claims representatives who gather the facts of new auto accidents and empathetically deliver perfect customer service. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of developing people and achieving excellent results in the insurance industry. RESPONSIBILITIESLead, mentor and develop a team of 5-7 claims representativesAbility and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking skillsResponsibilities for hiring, onboarding, training and performance managementAccurately forecasting workload and coordinating schedules to meet our customers' needsUsing data analytics to evaluate processes and improve performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resultsRegular responsibilities for compliance auditing and delivering feedbackPerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university strongly preferred Minimum 4 years of insurance experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, OneNote, etc).Working knowledge of ClaimsPro, FNOL, Verint, Avaya, CMS, and Image Right.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
