Facilities Manager

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead and oversee maintenance and repair operations at a single community installation. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, team performance, and high levels of resident satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic planning.Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day maintenance operations, including staff supervision, financial tracking, employee development, and customer service deliveryConduct routine property inspections to maintain quality standards and ensure all assets are properly maintainedAnticipate maintenance requirements and implement scheduling strategies to maximize team efficiency and timely project completionSupport and participate in community engagement initiatives and company-sponsored events as neededRecruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team aligned with organizational goalsCollaborate with military leadership and internal project teams to evaluate and enhance maintenance programs and performance metricsMonitor budgets, analyze operational data, and partner with leadership to ensure financial and service targets are achievedReview and improve operational procedures to increase efficiency and effectivenessDevelop and implement updated maintenance policies that promote safety, service quality, and operational standardsQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in facilities or property managementStrong knowledge of maintenance operations, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor/bid managementDemonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Yardi is a plusFamiliarity with OSHA regulations, building codes, and environmental compliance standards (Hazmat, EPA, Universal Waste) preferredHVAC Universal Certification is a plusValid driver's license with a clean driving record requiredEEO Policy: Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
