We are partnering with an Industry-Leading Automotive Supplier who is hiring for an Automotive Account Manager. Company Highlights• Global automotive supplier supporting major OEMs and Tier 1 customers • Strong presence across North America and Europe • New Domestic Target Customerso German OEMso German Tier Supplierso Japanese OEMso Japanese Supplierso Korean OEMso Korean Suppliers• Focused on innovation, electrification, and advanced technologies • Collaborative, performance-driven culture with global alignment • Financially stable organization with continued growth initiatives Position Highlights• Title: North American Account Manager • Full Time: Direct Hire Background Requirements• 5+ years of experience in automotive sales, account management, or business development. • Proven experience working with OEM and Tier Suppliers• Experience selling electronic products and systems is highly desired• Strong new business development ("hunter") mindset with track record of winning new programs. • Experience working with advanced purchasing and engineering teams. • Strong financial acumen with ability to support pricing, cost analysis, and cost recovery efforts. • Experience working within global organizations and collaborating with European-based teams. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Job Responsibilities• Drive new business development • Build and expand relationships with purchasing, advanced engineering, and design teams. • Identify and pursue new program opportunities ahead of RFQ release. • Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with global teams. • Support cost recovery initiatives including pricing adjustments and contract improvements. • Analyze competitive landscape and position solutions based on value"”not just price. • Collaborate with global counterparts to align on customer strategy and execution. • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, business reviews, and commercial proposals. • Maintain accurate account data, forecasts, and reporting metrics.
