An Administrative Specialist will work directly with management and other members of our team to provide best service to our clients. This position will require an individual who is self-motivated and willing to learn, has excellent time management skills and is able to work independently.ResponsibilitiesPerform office administrator dutiesFront desk and reception responsibilities including answering phones and greeting clientsCommunicate with clients via phone and email, as necessaryProcessing and assembly of tax returns and financial statementsPerform administrative support functions such as scanning, filing, data entry, etc.Assist in basic bookkeeping and internal accounting tasks. Utilize QuickBooks softwareHandle accounting duties including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, booking journal entries Prepare client invoicesMonitor and maintain office and kitchen suppliesOccasional trips to Post Office for certified mailingsQualifications1-2 years administrative position experience in a CPA firm preferred but not requiredAssociate degree preferredAttention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsClear verbal and written communication are requiredAbility to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a public accounting, deadline driven environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, QuickBooksDesirable experience in ProSystems Tax, CCH Engagement but not requiredWilling to learn and adapt to new responsibilitiesBenefitsMedical, dental and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and vacation/sick days
