The Logistics Team Lead will oversee daily logistics operations, assist in training and development, broker freight, provide competitive rates to shippers as requested, coordinate carrier relationships, and manage team members to ensure efficient freight scheduling and delivery. Duties include leading and developing the logistics team, optimizing supply chain processes, and working closely with stakeholders to meet operational and shipping goals.QualificationsStrong Communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with team members, partners, and clientsProficiency in Planning and organizational skills for managing logistics workflows and operationsExpertise in Team Management and Team Leadership to guide and develop the logistics staff, ensuring optimal performance, with a minimum of 3 years experience.Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including overseeing freight movement and ensuring operational efficiencyAbility to analyze and solve logistics and transportation challenges efficientlyProven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain sectors preferredBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is an advantageExperience in negotiating rates and participating on RFPs/RFQsKnowledge of transportation load boards including Truckstop and DAT.
