About the CompanyWe are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead and support the planning, design, and execution of residential and commercial subdivision projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, and proven experience managing subdivision layouts, grading, drainage, and infrastructure design. This role requires technical expertise, leadership ability, and strong coordination with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.About the RoleThis position involves leading the design and engineering of subdivision and land development projects.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and engineering of subdivision and land development projectsPrepare and review civil construction drawings using AutoCADDesign and oversee site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, roadways, and utilitiesEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and permitting requirementsCoordinate with surveyors, planners, architects, contractors, and municipal agenciesReview technical calculations, reports, and construction documents for accuracy and qualitiesParticipate in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planningSupport project proposals, scope development, and client meetingsPerform site visits and construction support as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical Engineering preferred)Advanced proficiency in AutoCADStrong understanding of subdivision design standards, zoning, and development regulationsExperience with grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway designAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficientlyStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensureExperience with Civil 3DFamiliarity with municipal review processes and permittingPay range and compensation packageMinimal travel required.
