Here's how we do it:Comprehensive medical coverage with a 100% company-paid deductibleDental and vision insurance401(k) with employer match and immediate vestingCompany-paid life insurance and short-term disability coverageGenerous paid time off package including PTO, 10 company holidays, sick leave, and parental leaveVehicle expense allowance included for business-related travelEducation assistance for ongoing professional development$1,000 employee referral bonusesEmployee wellness programsYour Experience at PremierHere's what you can expect from the role, the team, and the culture that supports you:Position Type: Full-time, salaried position (non-commission-based) Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexibility based on customer needs and travelLocation & Work Environment: Based in Alpharetta, GA, working in a field-based, customer-facing role with regular visits to industrial facilitiesTeam & Reporting: Reports to the Facility Operations Manager, with close collaboration alongside the engineering team to support customer opportunitiesTeam Culture & Appreciation: A collaborative, hands-on environment that values relationship-building, initiative, and continuous improvementInterview Process: Virtual screening interview, on-site interview, and pre-employment screeningDuties and ResponsibilitiesAs an Outside Sales Representative, you will:Prospect new leads through cold calls, networking, and industry events while strengthening existing customer relationshipsDevelop and expand Premier Automation's customer base across the Southeastern territory, with a strong focus on GeorgiaConduct in-person visits, plant tours, and site evaluations to understand customer operations and identify potential opportunitiesBuild rapport with plant managers, maintenance leaders, and operations teams through active listening and thoughtful questionsIdentify automation and control system challenges and help validate opportunities for further technical engagementCoordinate and schedule discovery meetings with internal engineering and operations teams to develop solutionsMaintain CRM data, sales pipelines, and weekly activity reportsManage your territory, priorities, and outreach strategy independently with minimal supervisionRepresent Premier Automation with professionalism and a customer-focused approach in all interactionsExperience and QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in industrial, electrical, or manufacturing environmentsExperience selling physical products, equipment, or industrial solutionsComfortable working in industrial environments such as manufacturing plants, process facilities, or similar settingsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and relationshipsSelf-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a territory independentlyCuriosity and willingness to learn technical concepts related to automation, controls, and drive systemsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with or selling into industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems environmentsExposure to PLCs, HMIs, drives (VFDs), or related industrial technologiesExperience using CRM tools to manage sales activity and customer relationshipsBachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field (or equivalent experience)Work Authorization RequirementApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
